There is a Bredimus around every corner...
The Bredimus family has grown through the centuries. Many people may not be aware of this fact, but the Bredimus family name goes all the way back to Roman times. So even though the Bredimus family was concentrated in what is now Luxembourg for nearly 2,000 years, they have been moving around the globe for over 100 years. Members of the Bredimus family, having connections to European aristocracy, moved to America in the 1800s and began making new lives for themselves.
The Bredimus Family Web site contains a history of the family written by one of the Bredimus aunts. It's very interesting.
You can read about Bredimus in Luxembourg itself. The town is also called Bredimus-Wasserbillig and Bredimus in Wasserbillig.

Hello
My name is Nicole from Luxembourg, and I wanted to tell you that in Luxemboug there are two villages with ending
"BREDIMUS"- one is Stadtbredimus,
and the other one is Waldbredimus, where my ancestors are coming from.
Wald(bredimus) Wald means forest.
Stadt(bredimus)(Stade-bredenes,Middle Ages) Stade means
riverside, only for Bredimus or Bredenes, itself, there is no explanation, till now, and in this specific case,"Stadt" does not mean a city, a town but Stad,Stade-Riverside! greetings,Nicole.
