Susan Bredimus on Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners

Susan Bredimus was approved for licensing by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners in 2005. Her application for Licensed Associate Counselor was approved in March 2005 (.PDF file warning) and announced in September 2005 (.PDF file warning).

Susan makes the Bredimus family proud, especially considering that the Board's Web site says they have a backlog for license renewals. It's good they found time to review and approve applications for new licenses.

The Arizona Board of Behvaior Health Examiners was only created in 1989 for the purpose of certifying social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and substance abuse counselors. The first certificates were not issued until 1990 but by 2000 more than 5800 professional counselors and therapists had been licensed in the State of Arizona. Certification became mandatory on January 1, 2004.
